American Bankers Association

Founded in 1875, the American Bankers Association represents banks of all sizes and charters and is the voice for the nation's $13 trillion banking industry and its 2 million employees. ABA brings together the talent, energy and perspectives of its members to bring about positive change. No other organization provides the range of offerings—information, products and solutions, training and education—all designed to assist our members in staying current, knowledgeable and prepared.

Membership, which includes community, regional, and money center banks and holding companies, as well as savings associations, trust companies, and savings banks, makes ABA the largest banking trade association in the country.

The majority of ABA's members are banks with less than $165 million in assets.
