When to notify ABA Insurance Services of a potential claim:
It is important to notify ABA Insurance Services as soon as possible to ensure that notice under the policy is timely. Insureds often wonder if a situation constitutes a claim under one or more of their policies. If you are in doubt, notify ABA Insurance Services to discuss whether or not the situation is a claim and what further action needs to be taken.
Information needed to report a claim:
The initial information you should include is: your contact information; description of the claim; and any supporting documentation, such as a copy of the complaint.
Who will contact you:
You will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm receipt of the claim. The matter will then be assigned to a claims attorney who will contact you shortly to discuss the matter in further detail and to describe next steps in the claims handling process.
